Sonos Beam review
The top surface shows that the soundbar has a slightly concave shape, with rounded outer edges. According to the Sonos designers, this form was created specifically to hide two LED indicators and controls. At the rear of the Sonos Beam is an HDMI port with ARC support, which had not previously been installed on other products of the company. Using this port, you can control some functions of the TV, including the volume using voice commands. There are 3.0 built-in channels. There is support for multi-channel audio Dolby Digital 5.1, but not DTS. HDMI supports CEC technology, which allows you to control the voice of compatible connected TVs - for example, turn them on and off. 
Denon HEOS BAR review
The Denon HEOS Bar soundbar has a three-channel configuration with separate front stereo and center speakers. Each channel has two oval woofers and a tweeter connected to separate amplifiers to get the most saturated sound. This provides a more accurate linking of dialogs to the screen, as well as their articulated and natural reproduction. The speaker system also has a virtual surround sound mode, but you can connect HEOS wireless speakers as surround back speakers and a HEOS Sub subwoofer if you wish. This will allow you to create a real 5.1 home theater system, very convenient for placement in a living space and not taking up much space.

- Alexa integration so this can replace an existing Amazon Echo or similar device

- Sound field is not very wide if you don't have a small room with sidewalls to reflect the sound
Denon HEOS BAR pros & cons
Pros
- Amazing treble and base. You have the ability to adjust both independently on all speakers
- The app also allows you to save presets for volume and equalizer settings
Cons
- It was dropping off my network. It also was losing wireless connection with the sub and rear channels
