When talking about the Sonos Beam vs Samsung HW-N650 comparison despite its small size, Sonos Beam offers stunning, powerful sound, and also allows you to control different TVs and audio devices with Alexa's voice assistant. Behind the smooth fabric grille is one tweeter, four full-range woofers and three passive bass drivers, each of which was developed by Sonos specifically for Beam. On the top of the case there are touch controls similar to the Sonos One and an array of microphones for voice commands. All ports, as expected, are neatly hidden behind. There are 3.0 built-in channels. 
Samsung HW-N650 review
The main function of the Samsung HW-N650 when comparing Samsung HW-N650 vs Sonos Beam is to work with a source of high-quality sound, and primarily with a TV. The panel is flat enough to fit under any screen. At the same time, the soundbar can also serve as an ordinary music center. It has a USB connector where you can connect a USB flash drive, as well as Bluetooth for connecting with mobile devices. There are 5.1.2 built-in channels. The output power is 360W. The connection and control is complicated by the lack of a full screen: it is, but very tiny and hidden under a grid on the right side of the soundbar.

- The soundbar is super easy to connect if your TV has an HDMI ARC port
- The bar works great for the TV sound but also is super easy to use for things like Spotify or internet radio
- The bar itself looks elegant and blends in well with your entertainment setup
Cons
- When you use the optical cable you lose out on the remote control and sync functionality
Samsung HW-N650 pros & cons
Pros
- You can add 54W semi-wireless rear speakers to make it 5.1
- I find the clarity of dialog to be high and the positional audio to be immersive

- I had some issues with HDMI ARC, and with pairing the additional rear speakers(8500s), took a while to start working properly
