Sonos Beam review
What catches an eye when comparing Sonos Beam vs VIZIO SB 36512-F6 is that there are five “distant” microphones in Sonos Beam so that Alexa's voice assistant can hear you even at a great distance. During the test, this worked well, even if music or TV sound interfered with the speech. I did not notice a qualitative difference with Amazon Echo during the whole two-week test. The Sonos app can also be used to wirelessly play music on the soundbar. The device supports music services, Internet radio and NAS (network storage). For surround sound, you can combine several Sonos devices. There are 3.0 built-in channels. 
VIZIO SB36512-F6 review
In terms of features, there are two highlight attributes that you should pay attention to: Dolby Atmos and, to a lesser extent, SmartCast. When comparing VIZIO SB 36512-F6 vs Sonos Beam you have Atmos content on an Atmos-compatible system, the lower LEDs turn green to indicate that you hear Atmos - you know, if you cannot recognize it by the sound of a helicopter flying overhead. Another feature that you should pay attention to is SmartCast, a Chromecast Built-in extension that allows you (theoretically) to broadcast content from your phone to the soundbar. There are 5.1.2 built-in channels.

Pros
- Most of the time I do not notice any lag while watching streaming movies from Netflix or YouTube
- The other big benefit is that has Alexa built-in and I love using Alexa for Spotify music streaming

- It consumes the HDMI ARC port on your TV
VIZIO SB 36512-F6 pros & cons
Pros
- The satellite speakers have color coded inputs of blue and gray to help indicate which speaker is which
- I’ve also Chromecasted music from my Google Play Music library directly onto the soundbar and having the sound setting being defaulted to “music” instead of “direct” also blew my mind away
Cons
- It does not process HDR color information accurately with apple tv 4k
