The huge remote control is convenient and can replace you with the remote control from the TV and other devices. The Bass button will help to add low frequencies, if your house has good audibility, it is better not to abuse the low frequencies. There are 2.0 built-in channels. To add, this playbar has the power output of 100W. 
Sonos Beam pros & cons
Pros
- I paired it with with my two Sonos One speakers and the surround sound is almost as good as my full 5.1 previous system
- The native Apple Airplay streaming without the need for the Sonos app (it allows streaming collectively to the Play:1s also) is a great bonus also
Cons
- The issue I have is codec support. Sonos has DD support and literally nothing else

Pros
- Auto shut off. Walk away and it will turn itself off after a period of no activity
- No more turning the volume up when someone is speaking and having to turn it down because the sound effects are to loud
Cons
- Remote massive and overkill in buttons most will never use
