These top-notch units have much in common. Their channel quantity is equal. They have 2.0 configuration. The small-sized soundbar with a strict external design in terms of quality and power of the output sound is really capable of replacing larger speakers. In addition, the dialogue mode can provide a more comfortable viewing of TV, and the built-in Bluetooth module for wireless music playback from a smartphone will be highly appreciated by music lovers. The design of monoblock acoustics is as concise as possible. 
Yamaha YAS-109 review
You can control the soundbar both with the standard remote control and the Sound Bar Controller mobile application with an extremely clear interface. An external subwoofer is also provided. Surround sound in the YAS-109 is formed using DTS Virtual:X. The correct tonal balance is monitored by the audio processor and the position sensor - if you place the soundbar flat under the TV, the basic correction mode will automatically be activated, and if you hang it on the wall, it will additionally weaken the mid-bass and mid-frequency bands.

Pros
- Auto shut off. Walk away and it will turn itself off after a period of no activity
- No more turning the volume up when someone is speaking and having to turn it down
- The sound emitters are hidden by a protective grill on the floor

- Remote massive and overkill in buttons most will never use
Yamaha YAS-109 pros & cons
Pros
- Surprisingly, under a metal RV port 24' x 40' with 15' ceiling, there is no problem hearing the music clearly
- Having Alexa in the unit (works only with internet connection), it's nice to get updates, change the music selection all with voice control
Cons
- Alexa suddenly stopped working without explanation and there's no troubleshooting available for that
