Concerning Bose Soundbar 700 vs Solo 5, I’ve noticed that using the Bose Music app, you can easily browse all your music in one place and seamlessly switch between stations, playlists and services. It’s also another easy way to control your Bose Soundbar 500. It’s very easy to save your favorite channels using the app so that your favorite music will be one touch away. Several users can personalize their settings and content. There are 3.0 built-in channels. Input rating is 65W.

I compared Bose Solo 5 vs Bose Soundbar 700. What impressed me the most is Solo’s TrueSpace technology, at any point in the room you will get surround sound, Bose doesn’t say how much volume will be “busy”, but you can count on it somewhere around twenty meters. Videostage technology converts any input signal into a five-channel, and this, of course, also affects the quality. As they say, here's a simple, “basic” soundbar. There are 2.0 built-in channels. To add, this playbar has the power output of 100W. Not only that, these things really work. You can feel the volume in front of the TV, and the details are good. The older Bose models, of course, are still cooler, more piercing and goosebumps. Here goosebumps run in games, in films everything is simpler.

Pros
- I was able to program the universal remote to my devices fairly easily
- It's clear loud sound in a very pleasant way. Hard to explain, you have to experience it
- The remote paired without a problem
Cons
- The set-up for this was a little frustrating. If your not a tech person I can see why someone would give a bad review

Pros
- Solo 5 best for small rooms/less than 50" tv's
- Adequate sound for the price
Cons
- Remote massive and overkill in buttons most will never use. Massive size, does not light up until pressed so one fumbles in the dark
