Comparing JBL Bar 5.1 vs Bose Soundbar 700 it comes clear that the soundbar has two speakers that magnetically attach to either end of the center panel, which means you can have one unit, or you can turn off the speakers and place them on the couch to create a truly wireless 5.1 surround sound system. It is also equipped with a subwoofer of the type found in more traditional “wireless” settings, as it is connected to a power source, but is connected to the soundbar wirelessly. Each channel is amplified by a special power module with a total peak power of 300 watts. This is an interesting proposition, and it certainly makes JBL Bar 5.1 outstanding.

I have had an opportunity to compare Bose Soundbar 700 vs JBL Bar 5.1, and here is what I think. Featuring a glass panel, metal grill, clean lines and sophisticated finishes, the Bose Soundbar 700 is as beautiful on the outside as on the inside. Place the soundbar on the TV stand or gently mount it on the wall. In any case, it is pleasant to the eyes and hearing. With the Bose SoundBar 700 you will have a great choice for listening. Listen to your favorite music services such as Spotify or Amazon Music - through your home Wi-Fi network with the click of a button, or you can listen to music via Bluetooth from your phone or tablet. There are 3.0 built-in channels. Input rating is 65W. 
JBL Bar 5.1 pros & cons
Pros
- Not only does it sound great, but it's just so awesome to show off
- You'll only need the JBL remote when you want to configure the settings
Cons
- I got scared when reading about people claiming the mids were non-existent

- The sound is loud and extremely clear, without being loud
- The bass are there, filling the whole room without noticing that it's there
- The remote paired without a problem
