What about soundbar from VIZIO SB3821-C6 vs VIZIO SB3621n-F8M, even at this stage of review we can see that VIZIO loses in terms of built-in channels quantity. Here we have only 2.1. It allows for external connectivity of devices with its USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo RCA, coaxial inputs and digital optical. WAV audio format's playback is possible thanks to the USB port. It includes digital optical and digital coaxial cords for RCA to the 3.5mm connectivity. The Sound Bar system packs a punch with a wireless subwoofer and integrated Dolby and DTS audio technologies, delivering a room filling audio experience with deep thumping bass—all in a sophisticated new design. The built in Bluetooth feature allows you to wirelessly stream music from your phone, tablet, or computer.

Now let’s see VIZIO SB3621n-F8M vs SB3821-C6. This is a 2.1 sound bar system, designed to complement 40” class tv’s. The SB3621n-F8M now includes DTS Virtual:X, which is a fairly cutting edge audio codec that can simulate the surround and overhead sound of the DTS:X codec (hence the “virtual” descriptor) without actually needing the actual positioned speakers. Basically, it can make it sound like you have surround and overhead speakers without actually having them, which is quite the cool feature for a 2.1 system that remains as inexpensive as this one is.

Pros
- So far, no audio sync issues with any sources or streaming apps
- Syncing took about 30 seconds from my iPhone and Spotify was up and running and sounding VERY full a spacious

- The Bluetooth cracked a few times

Pros
- The sound and dialog is very clear coming from the speakers
- Easy to set up. I ran my optical cable and power, that's it
Cons
- I do wish I could figure out how to control the soundbar volume with my main remote
