Have a look at the 36-inch Vizio 5.1.2 home theater speaker system with Dolby Atmos (or, technically speaking, SB36512-F6). This soundbar comes with two satellite speakers, a subwoofer and the ability to play Dolby Atmos. More VIZIO SB36512-F6 specs in our VIZIO SB36512-F6 review.
A small subwoofer is equipped with a 6-inch woofer loaded on a bass reflex. Thanks to the presence of a subwoofer, the system reproduces low frequencies from a value of 40 Hz. There are 5.1.2 built-in channels.
The 36-inch Vizio soundbar is certainly compact. Its dimensions are 36.00 x 2.5 x 3.19 inches (914.4 mm x 63.5 mm x 81.0 mm), which makes it ideal for 55-inch televisions and below. On the top panel of the soundbar is a pair of speakers for high-altitude channels that reproduce the effects of Dolby Atmos tracks. Their sound comes to the audience after reflection from the ceiling, as in other similar systems. The soundbar has a minimal set of controls, and it can be hung on the wall. The weak point in the design of SB36512-F6, as in the models of previous years, is the limited indication of operating modes. SB36512-F6 is equipped with a line of LEDs that shows the volume level, but not currently selected signal source. Two speakers point up, and a small wireless subwoofer serves as a connection point.
SB36512-F6 has five inputs: HDMI with ARC support, coaxial, optical, USB (for playing WAV files), as well as an analog input on the 3.5 mm jack. Wireless connections are represented by Wi-Fi (with built-in Chromecast) and Bluetooth. The SB36512-F6 remote control is high-quality, it even has an LCD display that displays the operating modes and initial setup steps.
The system has many sound character settings, but even in the basic factory version, the SB36512-F6 works fine. This was noticeable when watching the Blu-ray Mad Max: Fury Road, the soundtrack of which completely filled our test room.
