Flat soundbar with 5.1 sound? Yes, now it’s in the order of things. We study one of the models, Samsung HW-N650 specs and share our impressions. See them in this Samsung HW-N650 review.
Samsung HW-N650 is a 5.1 channel sound with a total power of 360 watts, which is produced by 8 speakers. Acoustics supports Samsung Acoustic Beam, Plug-and-Play, has a wireless subwoofer and can be connected to a TV in the same way. In addition, the capabilities of the Samsung HW-N650 soundbar can be expanded with the Wireless Surround Kit - an additional set of rear wireless speakers that are purchased separately and allow you to create more surround sound.
There are three speakers in the front of the device - the soundbar is long enough so that the extreme speakers are perceived precisely as left and right. In the center, respectively, central. Two more are in the upper part of the panel and work in the direction "up-side". Sound waves coming out of 56 holes on the top panel of the soundbar are reflected from the walls and ceiling - this creates the impression of ambient sound. For low frequencies, there is a separate subwoofer that connects wirelessly.
With TVs, everything is also simple: in addition to the usual HDMI, there is an optical and RCA connector, so you can connect even the most advanced model. The most logical way to control the soundbar is from the remote control, and if you have one of the compatible Samsung TV models, it can be a remote control from the TV itself. In extreme cases, there are main buttons on the sidebar of the soundbar. Another option is to download and manage the Samsung Audio Remote application on your smartphone. It essentially has the same buttons as on the remote.
The connection and control is complicated by the lack of a full screen: it is, but very tiny and hidden under a grid on the right side of the soundbar. To be precise, this is not a display, but an alphanumeric indicator. Nevertheless, we connected via Bluetooth even without reading the instructions - the algorithm is quite standard.
