Yamaha RX-V485 vs Yamaha RX-V483BL

Yamaha RX-V485 review

The 5.1-channel amplifier on board, can provide power when loading one channel at 165 W (at 8 Ohms) or 115 W (6 Ohms). Yamaha's exclusive Cinema DSP technology supports HD Audio playback (Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and others), providing natural and expansive audio visualization. YPAO (Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer) analyzes the acoustics of the room and the used audio system, and then fine-tune various sound parameters to provide the best sound for a particular room. When ECO mode is turned on, it can reduce power consumption by about 20% due to the advanced energy-saving design of the device. Yamaha RX-V485

Yamaha RX-V483BL review

Feel the powerful 5-channel surround sound: 80 watts per channel (6 ohms). The receiver is capable of transmitting a 2-channel signal to another zone. Thus, 5 channels remain for the main zone. This means that now you can listen to stereo sound in the second room. In both areas, material from the same source will be played (using two sources of signal is not possible). The advantage of HDMI is the CEC functionality. A device connected to a CEC-compatible TV will turn on / off with the TV, and you can use the TV's remote control to adjust its volume.
