Pioneer VSX-933 review
The VSX-933 is suitable for listening to Hi-Res music: it supports FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and DSD (2.8 / 5.6 MHz). To fine-tune the receiver and audio system, Pioneer developers equipped the device with the MCACC calibration system, which allows you to customize the sound to the characteristics of the room. Phase Control technology eliminates the delay of the subwoofers and synchronizes the low-frequency radiation of all speakers. In Dolby Atmos mode, the phase delay between the sound reflected from the ceiling and the low-directional sound should be eliminated by Reflex Optimizer. 
Yamaha RX-V485 pros & cons
Pros
- The receiver sound quality is excellent for the price
- The unit offers many audio processing options and supports wireless rear speakers (MusicCast speakers)
Cons
- The setup was very challenging due to oversimplification of the User’s Manual and to multiple setup devices
- The Net Radio function proved to have serious flaws
Pioneer VSX-933 pros & cons
Pros
- Thanks to the Reflex Optimizer mode with ceiling speakers, the sound becomes more realistic
- Setup with the included mic was so cool

- No backlighting on the remote
