Marantz SR8012 review

Marantz SR8012 is based on the technical solutions used in reference to two-channel amplifiers. The central part of the copper-plated chassis is a massive shielded toroidal transformer. The flagship is able to decode the main formats of object-oriented 3D-sound: Dolby Atmos, DTS: X and Auro-3D. The receiver uses four DSP SHARCs and can scale any video to 4K resolution. For the auto-calibration of speakers, the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 system is used, which is complemented by a whole package of Audyssey technologies: Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, LFC.
