Marantz NR1509 review

This is the 5.2-channel Marantz NR1509 model, which is assembled in a low-profile body. The unit supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoders for high-quality content playback. High-current transistors are used in the discrete amplifiers of the model, due to which a power of 50 W/channel at 4 Ohm is achieved, which is not much versus the AVR-X1500H, in which the amplifier produces 80 W/channel at 8 Ohm. For wireless audio transmission, the Marantz NR1509 uses two-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 protocol with multi-room audio support. All popular online sound services are supported.
