The device supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoders for high-resolution multi-channel audio playback and uses a special mode for energy saving. High-current transistors are involved in five discrete amplifiers of the model, due to which a power of 85 W per channel at 6 Ohms (50 W / 8 Ohms) is achieved and operation is guaranteed even with those speakers whose impedance is 4 Ohms. In addition to the conventional remote control and proprietary application, the Marantz NR1509 can be controlled by commands transmitted using the Amazon Alexa voice assistant (when using the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill application). 
Marantz NR1510 review
The unit has the same decoders as his opponent has. Its power reaches 85 watts per channel (6 ohms), and the receiver can withstand even a 4-ohm load. HDMI output received support for eARC (extended return channel), which makes it possible to work with codecs Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, etc. The model has wide switching capabilities. There are optical / coaxial inputs as well as 2.2-channel Pre Out. Even a vinyl turntable with an MM cartridge can be connected to the Marantz NR1510, and 5 pairs of screw terminals are used for speakers.

Pros
- Really good phono stage considering this is an A/V receiver
- Setup was relatively easy although assigning inputs was a bit questionable
Cons
- The Marantz SW team really needs to fix the software. The unit switches modes randomly

Pros
- For a medium size home theater and 5.1 surround setup this receiver has plenty of power
- Great sound with setup features that made the sound much better
Cons
- Frustratingly, there were no receiver sensitivity specs that would allow a definitive differentiation between receiver models and manufacturers
