Compared Yamaha brothers obviously have diversities. The MusicCast has 5.1 channels and 100W of power, while his rival has 7.1 and 107W respectively. All six soundbar drivers are concentrated on the front panel, so it is suspended horizontally from the wall - just like it is on the pedestal. The bass drivers of the MusicCast Bar 400 are located on a narrow front panel, there are four of them, so the total volume of transported air in the model is greater, respectively, and the lower boundary frequency of the speaker is lower.

- MusicCast is a great addition with an effective remote application and the ability to create a multiroom system
- You can even add rear channels using MusicCast speakers
Cons
- The lack of lossless support
- Only one HDMI input is disappointing
Yamaha YSP-2700 pros & cons
Pros
- This sound bar (a sound projector rather) is a perfect compromise between sound quality, ergonomics, and style
- The wireless sub does a good job of handling special effects and can bring some rumble
Cons
- Obviously it isn't a component system with standalone speakers
