Yamaha MusicCast BAR 400 review
The 5.1-channel soundbar has 100W of power. Stylish and compact (980 x 60 x 110.5 mm, 2.7 kg) soundbar with a wireless weighty subwoofer (180 x 437 x 401 mm, 9.4 kg). The highlight of the model is the surround sound in the DTS Virtual: X format, there is also a whole bunch of decoders “on board”: from Dolby Pro Logic II to Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Digital Surround. No less interesting is the video part. In addition to the Audio Return Channel, which has already become familiar to the technology of this class (ARC - the sound signal from the TV can be sent to the input of the device via an HDMI cable that outputs video signals from the device to the TV), there is a full 4K Ultra HD - Pass-through - 50 / 60 Hz, YCbCr 4: 4: 4, HDR 10, Dolby Vision, HLG. Good old 1080p 3D is not forgotten either. 
Yamaha YAS-209 review
The 2.0-channel unit has 100W of output power. The YAS-209 system includes a small subwoofer. Thanks to the wireless connection, it can be freely placed anywhere in any room. Install it in the chosen place, plug it in, turn it on and enjoy the truly dynamic deep bass. Easy setup with HDMI or optical cable and auto subwoofer connection. The YAS-209 offers Alexa built-in voice control for easy control of your soundbar, smart home devices, music, and more.

- This is a cleverly crafted 2.1-channel combination that delivers impressive performance with movies and music
- MusicCast is a great addition with an effective remote application and the ability to create a multiroom system
- You can even add rear channels using MusicCast speakers

- The lack of lossless support
- Only one HDMI input is disappointing

Pros
- Including downloading the related app and making an account, total set up was maybe 5 minutes max
- This sound bar is made to disappear into your home
Cons
- It can’t pull off multiroom audio through Alexa
