The Pioneer VSX-933 AV receiver supports 5.2.2 surround sound in Dolby Atmos and DTS: X formats and has 7 x 80 watts of power at 6 ohms. It is ready to work with 4K / 60 Hz video, as well as with HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG, but differs in the absence of connectors for automation. Surround sound created by Dolby Atmos or DTS: X, as well as the presence of video output in Ultra HD, will make watching any movie a fascinating adventure. The functions of the network receiver were supplemented by an expanded set of hardware: 6 HDMI inputs, all 4K / 4: 4: 4 / 60p / 24 bits, compatible with HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG and BT 2020, color, spatial and dynamic expansion, Zone 2 Pre / Line Outs, with support for HiRes / DSD and Amazon Prime Music, as an additional integrated streaming service.
The DAC is built on the AK4438 with 32 bit / 384 kHz parameters (the same is used in more expensive models). The VSX-933 is suitable for listening to Hi-Res music: it supports FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and DSD (2.8 / 5.6 MHz).
To connect the sources on the rear panel of the Pioneer VSX-933 posted six HDMI-inputs. There is an upscaling function to UHD. In addition, on board of the device there are two speaker outputs in a separate zone and a pre-out for the second zone.
To fine-tune the receiver and the audio system, Pioneer developers equipped the device with the MCACC calibration system, which allows you to customize the sound to the characteristics of the room. Phase Control technology eliminates the delay of the subwoofers and synchronizes the low-frequency radiation of all speakers. In Dolby Atmos mode, the phase delay between the sound reflected from the ceiling and the low sound is eliminated by Reflex Optimizer.
