The receiver has passed THX certification and has the appropriate sound modes, along with traditional proprietary digital processing modes. Like all Onkyo receivers, the TX-RZ900 has an extended set of interfaces. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA technology and AirPlay.
The device is made in a massive case with an aluminum front panel, on which all auxiliary controls, as well as connectors are hidden behind a hinged lid. The AV receiver is THX Select 2 Plus certified and has an exceptionally wide range of features. First of all, it is worth noting that the TX-RZ1100 supports the latest object-oriented DTS surround formats: X and Dolby Atmos, with the ability to build the system in 5.2.4 configuration (with two high-altitude channels on the front and rear) or 7.2.4 (when using additional stereo power amplifier). The Onkyo TX-RZ1100 front stereo channels have high-end AK4490 DACs.
