The Onkyo TX-RZ1100 AV receiver has a 9.2 configuration, power 9 x 200 W (6 Ohms), and is designed to create a high-end home theater. First of all, it is worth noting that the TX-RZ1100 supports the latest object-oriented DTS surround formats: X and Dolby Atmos, with the ability to build a system in 5.2.4 configuration (with two high-altitude channels on the front and rear) or 7.2.4 (when using additional stereo power amplifier). Using the DTS Neural: X processor, the device is capable of generating high-fidelity sound effects for ordinary 5.1 and 7.1-channel tracks.
The device is made in a massive case with an aluminum front panel, on which all auxiliary controls, as well as connectors are hidden behind a hinged lid. The AV receiver is THX Select 2 Plus certified and has an exceptionally wide range of features. The Onkyo TX-RZ1100 front stereo channels have high-end AK4490 DACs, and the extra-current circuitry of all terminal amplifiers ensures reliable operation of the device with the most difficult loads. The device supports playback of Lossless and High-resolution files, including FLAC, WAV and AIFF with parameters up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, as well as DSD (DSF / DFF) up to 11.2 MHz.
The AV receiver has eight HDMI inputs (one of which is located on the front panel) and two outputs that support the HDCP2.2 and HDR standards. Also in the TX-RZ1100 there is a full range of AV inputs, including for a vinyl player, as well as a USB connector for connecting portable media with music files. In addition, thanks to the presence of Ethernet and Wi-Fi, as well as Bluetooth, it is possible to play music from any available network devices or mobile gadgets, popular streaming services.
To fine-tune the system parameters when playing 3D sound, the updated AccuReflex auto-calibration system is used (as part of the standard AccuEQ).
