Denon AVR-X4500H review

The Denon AVR-X4500H AV receiver has a 9-channel configuration and is equipped with all the latest audio / video technologies. The device develops a rated output power of 120 W with a load resistance of 8 Ohms and is based on proprietary 32-bit technology D.D.S.C. HD Digital. Moreover, when working on the Denon AVR-X4500H vs Marantz SR6014 comparison I came across the fact that The AVR-X4500H features a sophisticated power amplifier section with 9 channels that are configured identically using high current digital transistors. In addition, its amplifier part can switch to Auto Eco mode, which adjusts the maximum power depending on the volume level, and the on-screen "Ecometer" allows you to monitor the reduction in energy consumption in real time. Denon AVR-X4500H pros & cons

Pros

  • Almost everything is customizable by hand, from crossover frequencies for outputting bass to a sub, to various delays depending on the distance of the speakers for the listener
  • It looks more stylish than 4400
  • There are no noise in the speakers when the sound is turned off

Cons

  • I didn’t like auto settings via the microphone neither for cinema, nor even for music

Marantz SR6014 pros & cons

Pros

  • Audyssey software cleaned up the rooms reinforcing wave patterns
  • The phone app and HEOS all worked from the first time

Cons

  • Because of the bigs I have up front I needed a minimum of 125 watts per channel and this only had 110 and from my experience I believe that wattage to be overstated
