Yamaha RX-S602 review
The output power of this unit reaches 125 watts per channel at 8 ohms. 5.1-channel network AV receiver with high-quality sound and convenient functions, including AirPlay, and support for MusicCast. The receiver fits perfectly in compact racks for AV equipment. This allows you to place the system wherever you are comfortable, and at the same time it will look elegant and neat. The USB port on the front of the Yamaha RX-S602 is used to conveniently connect iPod / iPhone / iPad devices, which at the same time are recharged during operation. 
Marantz NR1609 review
The 7.2-channel unit, power 7 x 85 W (6 Ohms), provides full three-dimensional sound thanks to the support of the DTS: X and Dolby Atmos formats in 5.1.2-channel configuration. Audyssey MultEQ system is used to set up the speakers in accordance with the geometry and acoustic features of the room. The technology uses Dynamic Volume (normalizes the volume, which is convenient when watching broadcasts with ads) and Dynamic EQ (optimizes the frequency response). The AV receiver has one HDMI input on the front and seven HDMI inputs on the back. All of them support HDCP 2.2 protocol and 4K resolution (60 Hz), as well as HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG video standards with extended dynamic range. 
Yamaha RX-S602 pros & cons
Pros
- The produced (TV shows and Netflix) sound is very clear
- TV plays sound without using a separate optical cable
Cons
- The receiver has been stripped from USB outlet on rear panel
Marantz NR1609 pros & cons
Pros
- My second channel connects to outdoor speakers which I can now control from my phone using the HEOS or Marantz app. This is very handy not to have to go back inside to change the music, volume, etc
- Helpful manual unlike ones in other brands’ models
Cons
- Only complaint is that the menu pops up when you turn a device on and you have to use the remote to select the input which is already selected
