Dolby Atmos and DTS: X formats allow you to display sound anywhere in 3D space, while effects move from column to column throughout the room and surround the audience when watching the latest movies and games. Thanks to the 11.2-channel output of the pre-amplifier and 11-channel processing, you can enjoy 3D sound through a 7.2.4 set of speakers (an external two-channel power amplifier is required), or use the built-in amplifiers for configurations 5.2.4 or 7.2.2. Its power is 7 x 90 W (8 Ohms). HDMI Main Out is compatible with the eARC interface, which supports the transfer of HD audio from an eARC-compatible TV to the AV receiver via an HDMI cable. 
Pioneer VSX-LX504 review
A much more useful distinguishing feature may be the ability of the VSX-LX504 to play audio in DSD format (11.2, 5.6, 2.8 MHz / 2 channels) not only from external drives with a USB interface, but also over the network. And finally, the senior receiver can be configured remotely over the network from a computer, which makes the process more flexible than using the system menu of the device. Do not forget to mention the differences in design –VSX-LX504 is equipped with a stylish hinged door that hides the switching and auxiliary buttons located on the front panel of the receiver. Pioneer VSX-LX504 has a configuration of 9.2, power 9 x 180 W (8 Ohms). 
Onkyo TX-RZ840 pros & cons
Pros
- On previous receivers such as my RZ830, it was random HDMI blackouts, or noise in the picture. Those issues appear resolved with the RZ840 and sound quality is truly excellent
- The Onkyo TX-RZ840 is supremely feature rich
Cons
- There has been a couple of times where my picture flickered while operating bluetooth

- The presence of preamp outputs for all channels
- Lively and detailed sound
- An advanced and efficient auto-calibration system
Cons
- No support for aptX and aptX HD protocols when using Bluetooth
