9.2 AV receiver with Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, 9 x 185 W (6 Ohm). The Onkyo TX-RZ740 AV receiver has a nine-channel configuration and is optimized for operation as part of installed AV systems. This unit has passed the THX certification, which guarantees high quality sound in home theaters based on it. The AV receiver is equipped with the latest technology for playing sound from various sources and is very convenient to use thanks to a well-thought-out control system. It has a high-end audio circuit using proprietary technology of dynamic amplification, which operates in an extended frequency range. The output stages of the amplifiers are mounted on aluminum heat sinks with low resonance indices.

Compare the above with similar 9.2 AV receiver with THX Certified Select certification, power 9 x 175 W (6 Ohms). Like all new Onkyo AV receiver models, the TX-RZ730 supports DTS Play-Fi technology (in addition to the proprietary Fire Connect), which allows it to be used in multi-room systems for streaming music throughout the house. Other supported wireless technologies include Bluetooth and AirPlay. To sound the second zone in a multiroom based on the AV receiver itself, you can use the acoustic or linear outputs. 
Onkyo TX-RZ740 pros & cons
Pros
- Great feature is that you can plug your PC HDMI output (yes, there is a special button for this) through this unit and view the image on your 60" (or higher) monitor or any size
- The set-up screen is "easy" as these things go
Cons
- The only audio short-coming of this unit I ran into is that it's audio return channel is the older ARC, not the newer eARC necessary to return Dolby TrueHD (Atmos)

Pros
- Has plenty of power for me and plays my speakers without any distortion
- AccuEQ seems to do a good job. Everything really does sound good
Cons
- No dimmer control for the front panel, and it's kind of bright
