Here is Onkyo TX-RZ730 review of a budget A / V receiver with the output power needed to play sound tracks in a 7.2.4-channel theater in Dolby Atmos or DTS: X formats with a reference volume level according to THX Certified Select. See more Onkyo TX-RZ730 specs below.
9.2 AV receiver with THX Certified Select certification, power 9 x 175 W (6 Ohms), i.e. the sound of this AV receiver is comparable in quality to the reference sound in a commercial movie theater. Support for “Works with Sonos” is also announced, allowing the receiver to integrate into the Sonos wireless ecosystem using Wi-Fi and the Sonos Connect device. The receiver can work with Dolby Surround and DTS Neural: X for the upmix of conventional multi-channel formats to an object-oriented 3D sound.
The design uses a high-current power transformer and large high-capacity buffer capacitors, as well as DAA dynamic amplification technology, which provides large instantaneous current and includes a patented noise reduction technology. The result is excellent transient response, detailed sound and a wide frequency range. Such an AV receiver confidently controls even large three-way floorboards. Onkyo TX-RZ730 uses modern AK4458 DACs and VLSC technology that eliminates RF noise.
The Onkyo TX-RZ730 rear panel has six HDMI inputs with support for 4K (60 Hz), HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG (for broadcasting) and HDCP 2.2 formats. There is an HDMI output with a return channel, as well as HDMI for the second zone. There is an 11.2-channel Pre Out, input for the MM phono stage, Ethernet port, coaxial and optical inputs. You can connect speakers using 11 pairs of screw terminals. The device has onboard modules Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (two bands), supports AirPlay and the Chromacast built in platform for wireless audio streaming, which allows you to use the device with the Google Assistant voice assistant.
AccuEQ Advance multi-point metering helps calibrate the speakers, which also minimizes the amount of standing waves in the room. AccuReflex technology provides phase compatibility for speakers designed for Dolby Atmos with other speakers.
