Denon AVR-X6400H vs Denon AVRX6300H

Denon AVR-X6400H review

The AVR-X6400H is provided with 11.2 discrete gain channels. It also supports DTS: X, Dolby Vision and HDR. Its output power is 145W at 4 Ohms. The 6400H is equipped with a precise, informative display and a massive compact remote control. Regrettably, there is no proper backlight. All eight HDMI inputs (and three outputs) are HDCP2.2 certified, meaning they will play Ultra HD 4K and HDR content in full. Denon AVR-X6400H

Denon AVRX6300H review

The 11.2-channel Denon AVR-X6300H AV receiver with a maximum output power of 205 W is designed for sounding large rooms. With an impedance of 8 Ohms, the equipment can provide a power of 140 watts. To transfer 3D, 4K Ultra HD, and other aforementioned formats, a number of HDMI 2.0a interfaces with HDCP 2.2 protection are located on the rear panel. Like all other representatives of this Denon line, the AVRX6300H is capable of decoding progressive object-oriented formats Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. Denon AVRX6300H

Denon AVR-X6400H pros & cons

Pros

  • Denon owns a mode for Dynamic EQ which provides an intense sound even while listening at a low volume, so you don't wake up the entire house
  • During the setup, the receiver informed me that my Sub was too loud
  • Even while listening at higher volumes, I don't notice any harsh highs or shortcomings in performance. It makes my whole system sound better than ever

Cons

  • The only disadvantage I have about this receiver is that the remote has no light on the back

Denon AVRX6300H pros & cons

Pros

  • It is really capable of building a high-class three-dimensional acoustic space
  • An effective autocalibration system, which can even out tonal balance and ennoble the sound of the bass

Cons

  • In my opinion, analog “tulips” in front and component video ports in the back only take up space and get confused at hand
