Denon AVR-X6400H is one of Denon's best AVRs for 2017. Not only is it decorated with all the features and technologies that you expect from a modern home theater, it also provides excellent performance, which easily makes you say goodbye to a serious amount of money for these Denon AVR-X6400H specs. Why am I so confident? See the answer in this Denon AVR-X6400H review.
The AVR-X6400H is equipped with 11 discrete gain channels. Also supports DTS: X, and Dolby Vision HDR. Its output powers is 145W at 4 Ohms. Enjoy the most complete surround sound experience using the latest Dolby Atmos, DTS: X and Auro-3D audio formats. The great thing is that 11-channel amplification allows you to adjust 3D effects up to 7.1.4 configurations without the need for an additional external amplifier. DTS Virtual: X brings the ultimate in immersive sound experience, regardless of the number of speakers installed. Even with two speakers, you will hear sounds from above and from the side.
The brushed metal finish looks very impressive, and all the inputs and buttons on the front panel are hidden. The 6400H is equipped with a clear, informative display and a large compact remote control. Unfortunately, there is no proper backlight. Proper Denon tuning is crucial: it is equipped with a microphone for automatic calibration and can optimize sound for your room's acoustics and speaker configurations. On the streaming side, Denon-equipped Wi-Fi supports high-definition streaming video up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and plays DSD files.
All eight HDMI inputs (and three outputs) are HDCP2.2 certified, meaning they will play Ultra HD 4K and HDR content in full. Along with the generous addition of HDMI ports, the 6400H comes with several analog and digital connections. The receiver even has an MM background input.
Fortunately, the Denon menu is beautifully laid out and easy to navigate, so there is no need for any help, even if you are new to AV.
