Denon AVR-X8500H vs Denon AVR-X7200WA

Denon AVR-X8500H vs Denon AVR-X7200WA

Denon AVR-X8500H review

The X8500H model has much more channels (13.2 vs 9.2), but their power output is identical. Both have 150/8 W/Ohm. All digital processing takes place only in 32-bit format - the necessary conversion of incoming 16-, 20- and 24-bit streams is performed by the multi-channel AL32 Processing circuit. The digital-to-analog conversion is generally on a separate board, which contains eight dual-channel AK4490EQ. These chips came out four years ago, but are still considered the best representatives of delta-sigma DACs of the 32-bit / 768 kHz class. Denon AVR-X8500H

Denon AVR-X7200WA review

It is not without reason that the model is considered the leader of the lineup: the advanced video processor accepts HD video signals up to 1080p and 4k Ultra HD 60Hz with full resolution 4: 4: 4 Pure Color, HDR, BT2020 and HDCP 2.2 encoding for all 8 HDMI inputs (one of which is located on the front panel ). The receiver also has 2 1 HDMI outputs with multi-zone / multi-source support (three zones, sources can be analog or 2-channel digital PCM sources, including optical, coaxial, HDMI and network) and an integrated Audyssey MultEQ XT32 / Sub EQ HT / LFC.
