The Marantz AV8805 has a 13.2-channel configuration and full support for 4K Ultra HD video and support virtually any of the high-resolution multichannel audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, DTS: X or Auro-3D. The Marantz AV8805 vs Denon AVR-X8500H has the support for HDAM technology, which transmits signals through 15.2-channel XLR or 15.2 RCA outputs. The HEOS system allows you to create a multiroom network with control through the HEOS App. The receiver has a full range of wireless interfaces - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple Airplay. Audyssey MultEQ XT32 auto-calibration system can be used to adjust the sound depending on the parameters of the sounding room and the speakers used.
Denon AVR-X8500H review
The 13.2-channel Denon AVR-X8500H produces 150 watts per channel, allowing you to use high-quality surround sound-oriented to formats such as Dolby Atmos or DTS: X. If compare Denon AVR-X8500H vs Marantz AV8805, the AVR-X8500H has DAC which works at a higher frequency - 384kHz versus 192kHz. The AVR-X8500H also supports Auro 3D surround decoding by upgrading firmware to the Auro 13.1 channel, including the upper and vertical center channels. The receiver is equipped with the Audyssey MultEQ XT32 sound correction system which makes the individual calibrations of any set of drivers.
