Yamaha YAS-209 review
The rear panel of the YAS-209 has one HDMI input compatible with 4K and HDR, and an HDMI output with ARC support. There is also an optical input for TVs that do not support ARC, and an Ethernet connector for those who prefer to use a wired network connection than Wi-Fi. Connecting the YAS-209 to the Internet allows, among other things, Spotify Connect. Well, there is also built-in Bluetooth. Alexa responds well to inquiries. It changes the volume and switches sources on the soundbar, and also processes typical assistant requests.

- The installation process is just as simple as setting up some random online account
- Bose quality is always great

- Lacks HDMI inputs
- I hoped the sound was more surrounded giving that it’s Bose

Pros
- Amazon Alexa support is an added benefit, and the microphones of this system work well even in noisy environments
- The presence of technology DTS Virtual:X provides a soundbar surround effect
- The subwoofer works more confidently and adds more bass than competing models
Cons
- There is no multiroom function
- There is no screen graphics, and the LEDs on top are too small for convenient visual control
