Design and build

The device is made in an MDF case with deep internal damping, reinforced with ties for damping vibrations. Exterior finish Klipsch R-100SW is made of a dense, scratch-resistant texture film under a natural tree. The subwoofer is equipped with a 10-inch diameter woofer that uses a die cast graphite diffuser (IMG). This high-tech material has advantages over traditionally used for the manufacture of paper or polymer bass bass diffusers in terms of stiffness to weight ratio. The diaphragm from IMG is able to move quickly with large amplitude without bending and resonance, so that the woofer creates high sound pressure. The bass player is mounted on a cast basket and equipped with a powerful magnet. The diffuser is coated with copper spraying, which additionally dampens unwanted resonances, and also gives the subwoofer an attractive appearance and appearance similar to the rest of the Reference Series speakers. The load for the speaker is a phase inverter, the outlet of which is located on the rear panel.
