Features

Klipsch R-Series R-110SW 10" Subwoofer is a must-have addition to your home audio entertainment. Ideal for high-performance systems, this subwoofer provides clean, deep bass, letting you hear and feel your music and movies. Regarding other Klipsch Reference R-110SW specs, it features a 10-inch spun-copper Cerametallic driver that is exceptionally light yet extremely rigid – providing a remarkably low-frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion. Don’t let the woofer’s modest 200-watt continuous power rating fool you. The Klipsch 110SW is capable of 114 decibels (db) of acoustic output – that is loud enough to permanently damage your hearing if you’re exposed to it for too long. The one problem area for this subwoofer was the highest frequencies. Acoustic instruments that are low enough to need subwoofer reinforcement sounded unnaturally boomy. One way to fix this problem is to set the crossover at 100Hz or lower.

Design and build

The front-firing slot port with proprietary internal geometry minimises port noise for clean undistributed low frequencies. The built-in all-digital amplifier delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy in reproduction. Low pass crossover and phase control allow you to blend the subwoofer's low-frequency tones with other Klipsch speakers as well as establish the ideal level of bass. The R-110SW is housed in a durable MDF cabinet and finished with a brushed black polymer veneer and satin painted MDF plinth. The front-mounted LED power indicator lets you know when the system is powered on or off.
