Read MoreI managed to compare Yamaha YAS-207 vs Yamaha ATS-1070, and that’s what I think. In terms of its feature set, the Yamaha YAS-207 cannot be considered a universal system for use in any home theater. But for those who have a limited budget to purchase a soundbar, a small room, and do not need particularly powerful bass, the Yamaha YAS-207 will be a good buy due to its balanced sound and several audio effects. Yamaha was the first to add support for DTS Virtual: X and DTS Virtual Surround in its YAS-207 soundbar. There are 2.1 built-in channels. The power output is 100W.
When testing Yamaha ATS-1070 vs YAS-207, I faced the next features. The ATS-1070 sounds very good at all volume levels and gets louder than I need, the ARC control is convenient, and BT streaming works great. The remote looks simple and dated but is perfectly functional. For the price, I doubt you'll find anything that sounds as good, and most competing units at $100 or less don't include ARC. It has 2.0 built-in channels and 120 W total power: 30 W x 2 60 W built-in subwoofer.
