The Onkyo TX-RZ830 mid-range 9.2-channel AV receiver supports THX Certified Select certification, which indicates reference sound quality. The power supply unit is equipped with a powerful high-current transformer H.C.P.S. and large capacitors. The design utilizes Dynamic Amplification Technology (DAA), which provides high current and efficient noise reduction. As a result, the model sounds as close as possible to the source, and also has transparency, detail, excellent dynamics and a wide frequency range, which is important for HD audio.
Thanks to the 32-bit DSP, the model decodes all major formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X (available with new firmware). The signal conversion is done by AK4458 DACs (32 bit / 384 kHz), and VLSC technology cleans it of impulse noise. To calibrate the speakers, AccuEQ with AccuReflex technology is used, which provides phase compatibility of the speakers for Dolby Atmos with other speakers. Three of the eight HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs (one for zone 2) of the receiver correspond to the latest version and work with a resolution of 4K / 60Hz, HDCP 2.2 technology, and also support HDR image with a high dynamic range.
