Features

Pioneer SX-10AE Black stereo receiver with 2x100W at 8 Ohms, 4 line inputs, cassette and subwoofer outputs, A / B speaker, UHF radio and Bluetooth. At the same time, modern and ready to stream from your smartphone thanks to the Bluetooth receiver. Additional versatility is provided by switching A / B speakers, whereby two independent pairs of speakers, which can be selected, with a headphone jack and even an output to the subwoofer, are connected to reliable threaded clips. If there is no subwoofer, the juicy sound of the SX-10AE will provide using its customizable "Ultra Heavy Bass" function.

Design and build

Despite the Spartan functionality, the SX-10AE looks almost indistinguishable from multichannel counterparts with sophisticated decoders on board. The case, which is standard for high-end components, reaches a height of almost 15 cm. The entire upper surface of the case is strewn with many ventilation holes, and if you look closely, you can distinguish inside a very impressive mains transformer wound on a W-shaped core.

Connectivity

On the rear panel there are four pairs of “tulips” of the above inputs, as well as a line output. Looking ahead, I’ll say that it turned out to be unregulated, that is, in which case, using the SX-10AE in conjunction with an external power amplifier will not work. There is another outlet, designed specifically for the subwoofer. There are two pairs of speaker terminals, and you can connect speakers to both at the same time. The terminals are simple, but quite comfortable, except that they are located very densely to each other - and this is with the vast expanses around them.

Setup

By pressing the buttons from the BASS, TREBLE, etc. groups on the remote control during playback, you can adjust frequently used settings, for example, sound quality settings. The device offers a number of additional settings that allow you to achieve even better results.
