The Denon AVR-X3600H 9.2-channel AV receiver with nine discrete amplifiers on board is capable of decoding DTS: X and Dolby Atmos object-oriented 3D sound formats in the maximum possible 7.2.2-channel configuration or in 7.2.4-channel using the optional stereo assistant. Available in DTS Virtual: X format and Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization technology that mimics the sound of ceiling speakers in DC systems that are not equipped with specialized speakers. IMAX Enhanced technology is supported with a special version of the DTS codec, which allows you to get the same highest quality sound and image as in IMAX movie theaters. There is an upscaler that can increase the resolution of any video to 4K. The output power is 180 watts per channel (6 ohms).

Design and build

Denon AVR-X3600H is equipped with amplifiers with high-current output stages and, thanks to a powerful power supply unit, is able to fully pump even large floor acoustics. For the sound processing in this model, a 4-core DSP with a high data processing speed, as well as 32-bit AKM DACs in each channel are responsible. A powerful digital processing system (DSP) can handle the 11.2-channel signal, which allows you to add an additional power amplifier to the system. Featuring 180 watts per channel, this performance-tuned Denon AVR-X3600H delivers stunning 3D sound formats.

Connectivity

The device received eight HDMI inputs (one on the front panel) supporting 4K Ultra HD / 60 Hz, HDCP protocol version 2.3 and HDR video standards HDR10 / Dolby Vision / HLG.

Setup
