In 2018 Onkyo announced that one of the first devices released under the Works With Sonos program will be the AV receiver in the RZ series - TX-RZ630. Want to come to it closer? Then see Onkyo TX-RZ630 specs in this Onkyo TX-RZ630 review.
The 9-channelled TX-RZ630 delivers 90 watts per channel (8 Ohms) and works with 5.2.4 configuration to create surround sound in Dolby Atmos and DTS: X formats. It supports Dolby Surround and DTS Neural: X upmix. The Height 1 speaker outputs of the receiver can be used to bi-amp the front right and left speakers for more powerful sound. You can also connect a pair of speakers for stereo sound in any other room. You can have two wired stereo music in different rooms if you prefer the 5.2 channel surround size in the living room.
The receiver can play audio up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and DSD up to 5.6 MHz, calibrate the sound using the AccuEQ Advance system with AccuReflex processing, and receive a signal from turntables through the audio input. The device’s video capabilities include support for HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision for 4K / 60p / 4: 4: 4 video. The RZ Series by Onkyo delivers movies and music soundtracks with accuracy and great detail making it the home theater receiver that everyone needs in their home. The RZ630 is built on the quality components with large custom capacitors for providing consistently amazing sound through the range of frequency. The advanced amp circuit layout of the receiver prevents any phase shifts which helps ensure the audio image is focused and reduces any distortion even at very high volume levels.
The device, equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, work with AirPlay, Chromecast, DTS Play-Fi and FlareConnect, can independently connect to Tidal, TuneIn, Deezer and Spotify streaming services, and through the application for smartphones - also to Amazon Music.
You have a lot of choice for setting up a home theater with the RZ630 nine channel amplifiers. All of the nine channels in a 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 DTS: X or Atmos can be used in the system. You can also choose a more modest surround setup for repurposing the extra channels in many ways. Onkyo uses the AccuEQ technology for audio controlling.
