The presented preamp is capable of processing a multidimensional signal, because it supports Dolby Atmos and DTS: X technologies. It also impresses with its increased connectivity for different devices, as it has XLR outputs for 11 channels and 2 subwoofers. CINEMA DSP HD3 literally takes the surround sound experience to new heights. The CX-A5100 is the only AVENTAGE model where Cinema DSP HD3 will work with object based surround formats (Dolby Atmos and DTS:X).
Design and build
The internal design separates the power supplies to the analog circuit boards, eliminating high frequency noise interference from the digital circuitry. The shielded power supplies restrict noise radiation and the large power transformer minimizes vibration. The Compressed Music Enhancer in this model has the capability to process and restore compressed music (up to 96 kHz / 32-bit) further heightening the musicality of the original content.
Connectivity
The place of the numerous speaker terminals of the cinema receiver is given to a lot of XLR connectors, forming a balanced analog output 11.2. The device is equipped with eight HDMI inputs and two outputs. Wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth and WiFi. Also, the device can connect to streaming audio services, such as Spotify, Pandora.
