Features

With a relatively small size, the Polk Audio PSW110 subwoofer does an excellent job of reproducing low-frequency effects in movies, and will also make a good tandem with compact speakers. The subwoofer is perfect for placement in most rooms of ordinary city apartments, where it will not cause overload on the bass and at the same time provide focused and deep low frequencies. Talking about Polk Audio PSW110 specs, the power of the built-in subwoofer amplifier is 200 watts, which is more than enough to sound a variety of rooms. The filter adjustment range is 50 - 120 Hz.

Design and build

Polk Audio PSW110 is made in a massive body made of fiberboard with good internal damping, preventing the vibration of its walls at any sound volume. The body volume is precisely calculated for the optimal operation of the installed bass, and its internal rigidity is enhanced by special internal ties. The subwoofer is equipped with a 10-inch bass that is mounted on the side panel and is covered with a neat protective net. The low-frequency diffuser is made of composite material, and its magnetic system has been optimized by computer simulation. Combined with the proprietary Dynamic Balance concept, this provides shocking and powerful sound with minimal audible distortion. To further expand the range of reproducible low frequencies, the bass in the Polk Audio PSW 110 is loaded on a bass reflex, the outlet of which is directed to the floor. Thus, the distribution of bass in the listening room is evened out and the choice of placement of the subwoofer is simplified.

Connectivity

The Polk Audio PSW 110 is equipped with all the available inputs for signal input - line, LFE and acoustic. This provides good flexibility to connect the subwoofer to the audio system - for example, in stereo sets based on popular integrated amplifiers, the best option is the connection via acoustic outputs.
