JBL PRX818XLFW is a high-performance active subwoofer with wireless Wi-Fi control built-in DSP equalizer settings. This model can be used with high efficiency in conjunction with broadband systems of the PRX800 series or as part of a large-scale wide-format sound reinforcement system. Complex DSP forms the core of a fully functional input section, providing a convenient equalization system, protection, input sensitivity selection, crossover, dynamic limiting and discrete component optimization. The combination of a built-in massive 18 "woofer and a passive-cooled D-class digital amplifier allows you to accelerate this acoustics to as much as 1500 W of power with a working frequency range of 30 Hz - 103 Hz at -10 dB and a peak SPL of 134 dB.
Design and build
The surface of each speaker system in the PRX800 series is endowed with a durable DuraFlex coating. The steel perforated grill on the front panel guarantees reliable protection of the speaker from mechanical influences. The case of this acoustics has a bass reflex type and is made of birch plywood, which has excellent acoustic characteristics, and is also resistant to mechanical damage and scratches. The front panel of the casing is closed by a reinforced perforated grill, which protects the woofer from possible mechanical damage. The side panels are equipped with molded handles for transportation, on top there is a 35 mm glass for the telescopic rod of the top, and on the bottom there are special rubber legs to increase stability.
Connectivity
The amplifier input panel provides XLR-1/4 "Jack combo stereo inputs. Connecting a mobile phone or tablet to the subwoofer is done using Wi-Fi wireless technology.
