According to the manufacturer JBL EON618S specs are decent. The bass player is connected to a Class D amplifier, which develops power up to 1000 watts at its peak and has high efficiency. The combination of a built-in massive 18 "woofer and passive-cooled D-class digital amplifier allows you to accelerate this acoustics to as much as 1000 W peak power (500 RMS) with a working frequency range of 31 Hz - 150 Hz at -10 dB and a peak SPL of 134 dB. For debugging sound meets the integrated multi-function DSP processor and parametric equalizer.
Design and build
The JBL EON618S active subwoofer is relatively small and, thanks to the handles located on the side panels, is convenient to carry. At the same time, the device develops significant acoustic pressure for confident sounding of rather large rooms and has a thoughtful control system. JBL EON618S is made in a wooden case with a black DuraFlex finish and is equipped with a removable protective steel mesh, with powder coating and additional damping with an acoustically transparent mesh. The subwoofer is equipped with a large 18-inch (457 mm) bass bass located on the front panel with a two-inch voice coil manufactured by JBL. The bass mount mounted on a molded chassis and equipped with a powerful magnetic system is loaded on two phase inverters, the outlet openings of which are also located in front. The case of this acoustics has a phase inverter type and is made of birch plywood.
Connectivity
On the rear panel are a pair of combined XLR / Jack input jacks, published by XLR transit outputs, as well as a volume control. An interesting feature of the JBL EON618S is that the subwoofer settings are controlled via a Bluetooth connection from mobile devices.
