Of course, installing such a kit is more complicated than with a simple soundbar, but thanks to the wireless connection of all components, the problems promise to be minimal. Proved by our Samsung HW-K850 review. See more Samsung HW-K850 specs here!
The total power reserve of the system is indicated at 350 watts, which, in theory, is enough for any room in a typical city apartment. Samsung disguised a full 3.1.2 system as a soundbar. Five channels (center, front pair and front upper) in the Samsung HW-K850 are combined in a single enclosure, the subwoofer is a separate unit. Functionally, it is ready to work with the most modern content, supports the latest Ultra HD and HDR video formats. The difference between tracks Dolby Atmos with outdated formats is noticeable well in many ways.
The ascetic design and matte black color make it easy to mask the acoustics in the interior, and the soundbar itself effectively emphasizes expensive models of large-screen TVs. Samsung HW-K850 is equipped with an impressive arsenal of speakers. Three front channels work on a pair of mid-range heads and tweeters, upward-facing broadband drivers are responsible for ceiling channels. One driver is located on the front side, the second on top. The active subwoofer is equipped with a solid 8-inch driver.
The set of switching ports includes a pair of HDMI inputs, one output, as well as digital optical and analog audio inputs. For the soundbar is quite adequate, the format as a whole is characterized by switching minimalism. An alternative method with wider compatibility for communicating with gadgets is also present in the form of Bluetooth support. The USB port, which can be seen in the photo, does not carry a functional meaning and is intended only for updating the standard firmware.
The kit is compatible with Samsung multiroom solutions, including the Samsung Multiroom app management software. It, among other things, is suitable for listening to music from network services.
