KEF HTF7003 Review and Specs

KEF HTF7003For those who want to watch their favorite movies with the highest quality sound, but are not ready to sacrifice free space in the listening room, KEF offers a very interesting system - KEF KHT7005, which is a set of front speaker HTF7003, combining the left, the right and center front speakers, 2 rear satellites HTS7001 and the KUBE1 subwoofer, well known to lovers of high-quality sound. An additional advantage of the KEF KHT7005 kit is that it is made in a single design with most modern LCD and plasma TVs, and therefore allows you to build an audio-video system with a very harmonious appearance. Features

It is equipped with a built-in 200-watt amplifier, which runs on a 200-mm speaker. In order to make the bass deeper and more powerful, while maintaining intelligibility and dynamics at the lowest frequencies, KEF uses the original ABR (Active Bass Reflex) solution in this subwoofer, which implies the use of a second speaker in the subwoofer, similar in its parameters to the first, but not having its own "motor" system.

Design and build

The overall dimensions of the HTF7003 exactly match the width of the 36-inch TV. The tweeters of the right and left front channels are located at the corresponding edges of the speaker system (in order to provide the widest possible sound panorama), and the tweeter of the central channel is located between the two mid-frequency drivers in the corresponding central set of speakers. Note that the rear satellite speakers are equipped with exactly the same sets of speakers (one 19-mm tweeter and two 50-mm mid-range speakers) as each of the conditionally separate front speakers, which ensures perfect tonal consistency of all sound channels.
