Design and build

The body of the receiver is constructed to transmitted vibration from speaker sound pressure for better sound. The radiator is rigidly mounted to the body, which also helps reduce vibration. The phono amplifier and transformer are positioned optimally to minimize interference from the magnetic field.

The STR-DH190 has four analog audio inputs and one output, so you can easily connect your traditional audio components like a CD player or turntable, and recording devices.

Setup

Setup was pretty simple. Phono jack with grounding wire was obvious to the plugin, and the additional RCA inputs let you customize where to plug things in. The remote control lets you rename the inputs to label what goes in where. Speaker wires fit easily into the clamps on the back.
