Design and build

Setup
The SC-LX801 features an advanced MCACC Pro auto-calibration system. Based on the results of measurements made using a microphone, this system performs equalization on each channel. MCACC Pro effectively deals with standing sound waves and can compensate for its own room resonances.

Pros
- The bass is designed and tangible, fast enough and, most importantly, does not spread around the room. It feels like the sound is coming from a real source.

Cons
- Automatic setup is not so good. The user should make the manual correction of the sound
- The firmware is buggy. There are some freezes during operational in the menu
- Pioneer does not support the HLG. The image is not saturated
