In 2019 Pioneer Corporation presented its new network AV receiver: Pioneer SC-LX704 for those looking for a high-end home theater. Check out Pioneer Elite SC-LX704 specs as well as additional information in this Pioneer Elite SC-LX704 review.
Pioneer SC-LX704 has the latest version of Class D Direct Energy HD amplifier that supports powerful simultaneous multi-channel amplification with 205 W x 9 channels (6 ohms). The Direct Energy HD amplifier controls all channels under the same conditions and is an ideal amplifier that clearly demonstrates Pioneer's “Multichannel Stereo Philosophy” and delivers incredible, immersive DTS IMAX sound. This philosophy has been fully adapted for audio processing. The Direct Energy HD amplifier allows the Pioneer SC-LX704 to play the latest surround sound formats, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, which perfectly unleash the sound power of multi-channel speakers.
The system provides 32 bit / 384 kHz digital-to-analog conversion on all channels, and, of course, support for 24-bit / 192 kHz audio in FLAC, WAV, AIFF and ALAC file formats, as well as DSD 2.8, 5.6 and 11.2 MHz. Pioneer SC-LX704 uses two 384 kHz / 32 high-quality ESS9026 DACs to equalize all signal processing from all channels from the very beginning.
The Pioneer SC-LX704 has 7 HDMI / 3 inputs and supports Ultra HD pass-through with HDCP 2.3, 4K / 60 Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG (hybrid log gamut), WCG (wide color gamut), and Ultra HD scaling ( 1080p to 4K).
This model is also based on Pioneer advanced audio technology, which provides ease of installation and sound quality reference. After tuning, MCACC PRO (multi-channel acoustic calibration system) creates an ideal acoustic environment using a special microphone connected to the receiver, thanks to which the system automatically compensates for the difference in speaker size, level and distance, and also stabilizes the response, reducing the standing wave, and adjusts the source state by LFE phase alignment with other channels.
