The 5.2-channel Denon AVR-S650H model occupies a junior position in the branded line of AV receivers with the “S” index. The device supports Ultra HD resolution (4K / 60 Hz) and has five high-current amplifiers equipped with discrete elements and able to cope even with low-impedance speakers. The declared maximum power is 135 watts per channel (6 ohms). The model works with most relevant modern surround sound formats, including Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio. “Reverse” Bluetooth, in which the receiver acts not as a receiver, but as a signal translator, allowing you to transfer playable music to wireless headphones.
Thanks to the presence of digital high-current power amplifiers on all channels, the AVR-S650H provides maximum performance. The five-source HDMI switch in the S650H complies with all modern 4K / 3D / HDR / HLG / Dolby Vision standards and, importantly, is suitable for the most advanced cyber games that require the fastest response.
The receiver is equipped with five HDMI inputs, supporting the latest HDCP 2.3 protocol, 4K video, as well as video standards with high dynamic range HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. A single HDMI-out allows you to work with eARC - an extended return channel, which enables the transfer of multi-channel audio in Dolby True HD and other formats from the TV-panel directly to the receiver. The model has an MM phono stage for connecting vinyl players, and for connecting speakers are five pairs of screw terminals marked in color.
The speakers connected to the AV receiver are calibrated by the Audyssey MultEQ system, supplemented by Dynamic EQ (frequency response optimization) and Dynamic Volume (volume optimization) technologies. The receiver is able to work as part of the proprietary wireless ecosystem of HEOS.
