Design and build
Every detail of the design of the AV receiver affects the sound quality. The company spared no time searching for or developing components that would ensure the highest possible sound quality of Aventage models. At the end, the sound engineers performed special tests to “detune” the sound of the receivers. The Yamaha RX-A680 receiver uses Burr-Brown DACs. The Yamaha RX-A680 features the latest generation of MusicCast Surround technology, which enables wireless speakers to be included in the 5.1-channel configuration. The entire Aventage RX-A 80 series received Wi-Fi, AirPlay and Bluetooth.
Connectivity
The Yamaha RX-A680 AV receiver offers Bluetooth functionality, enabling wireless music playback from smartphones and other devices. Yamaha RX-A680 AV Receiver provides full support for the latest HDMI standards.
Setup
The Yamaha RX-A680 has added the RSC (Reflected Sound Control) function, which compensates for the effects of furniture and walls near the speakers, and YPAO Volume, which automatically equalizes the sound to provide balanced low, medium and high frequencies at any volume level.
